  • 1.  Free Training for Trauma Informed Legal Services

    Posted 08-27-2024 10:52

The Department of Justice's Office for Victims of Crime is offering a free virtual training on how to work with survivors in the legal system on this Friday, August 30 from 11 a.m. to noon.

It does not seem to be CLE accredited, but could be helpful for any legal professional working with victims of violent crime, especially domestic violence & human trafficking.

You can learn more & register here: Empowering Justice: Trauma-Informed Legal Services for Survivors | OVC

I'm passing along from the Nebraska Crime Commission, who is also happy to provide trainings on Nebraska's specific Crime Victim Reparations program to any interested groups.
