    Shannon,

We provide mediation services, but I am happy to assist if the parties are doing their divorce filing DIY and need some help with the agreements, such as in case 933. We would be, in essence, a volunteer mediator as we would not be representing a party. Only an attorney-mediator can do a Property Settlement Agreement and child support. So, in cases that need a PSA or child support figured out, we can help. However, they would need to file and handle the case Pro Se, which they may be doing.

Feel free to contact me when you have cases that would fit us well. If clients are willing to work via Zoom, we can handle cases from all over the State.

I did not click the link as I thought I best do my disclaimer. Let me know if 933 is a good match, and we can take it from there or accept a case that is a good match.

    Kind regards,

    Mary Kay

    Dear VLP Attorney Volunteers,

Thank you so much for your continued pro bono work! I am reaching out today because we are searching for legal representation for many of low-income Nebraskans and need your help.

We have several cases on our no-fee pro bono case lists including divorces, custody, name changes, and guardianships. We also have some divorce and custody matters on our reduced fee pro bono case list.

If you are interested in taking one of these matters, please click the links above, then click the blue numbers next to the case description. This will generate an email telling us you are interested in the case. If you are not able to take on a case for full representation at this time but might be interested in limited scope, please let us know that too and we can see if it is a possibility given the facts of the case.

As always if you have any questions or if there is anything I can do to help you or your law firm reach their pro bono goals, please let me know.

Thank you for all you do!

    Sincerely,
