    USDA Discrimination Financial Assistance Program and Public Benefits Webinar Training 

    This complimentary webinar will train volunteer attorneys and others, including ABA Free Legal Answers pro bono attorneys, to advise USDA Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP) award recipients about the impact of their award on public benefits.  Panelists will be educating pro bono attorneys who volunteer to provide advice and for legal aid programs that anticipate serving recipients and want to learn more.

    Panelists include:

    • Jamie Rodriguez, Managing Attorney of Health & Welfare Programs, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri
    • Margo Schlanger, Professor of Law, University of Michigan
    • Douglas Sea, Senior Attorney and Program Manager, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy
    • Anne K. Sweeney, Chief of Civil Legal Services, National Legal Aid and Defender Association
    • John Whitelaw, Advocacy Director at Community Legal Aid Society, Inc.
