    Dear Public Defenders:

We are happy to announce that Criminal Law forms have now been added to NebDocs! (Complete list of forms available here). We have been asked whether the forms were drafted by a prosecutor or defense attorney, and so I thought I would mention that all the criminal forms in NebDocs were reviewed from the perspective of a public defender. Details about our free trial and product are below. If you have questions or would like a demo, please let us know!

    Free Trial
We're so confident you'll love NebDocs that we offer a 14-day "try before you buy" period where you can use the product at no cost! Just select that option when you register your account (more info below).

The new NebDocs platform offers several new and enhanced features including:

    How to purchase a subscription
When you purchase a subscription, the email address you use to subscribe will become the administrator on the account. There are two steps to the subscription process: (1) creating an account and (2) purchasing a subscription.

To create an account, visit nebdocs.xpressdox.com and click the "Create a New Account" tab at the top of the login panel on the left side of your screen. Enter your name, your firm/organization name, your email address, and create a password. Please note: To purchase NebDocs at the member preferred NSBA pricing, you must register on the XpressDox Publisher using the same primary email address that you have on file with the NSBA.

If you are unsure of the email address associated with your NSBA member account, log into the NSBA website and select "My Profile" (located in the upper left-hand corner in the blue menu bar).

There you will find your email addressIf you are a new member and the system is not recognizing your email address, or if you would like to use a different email address to subscribe, please Elisa Oria.

Once you have created an account, you'll automatically be taken to the subscription popup screen. From here you have two options:

    • Option 1: Purchase a subscription
From the subscription popup screen, click the blue "Subscribe" button and select the subscription level you wish to purchase, and click "Checkout." You will be taken to a screen to complete payment. Upon completion of the transaction, you will be prompted to add the appropriate number of users to your account. (See below for more instructions on adding users.)
    • Option 2: Free trial
If you'd like to test drive NebDocs before committing to a subscription, click the blue "Free Trial" button from the subscription popup screen after creating your account. This will take you to another popup screen, where you should select the number of users you wish to subscribe and click the gray "Free 14 Day trial" button again. This will bypass any collection of fees and your 14-day trial will be active immediately. Please note: you will NOT be automatically charged at the end of the free trial. If you'd like to purchase a full subscription once your trial ends, simply follow the steps outlined for Option 1 above.

Once you have purchased your subscription (or selected the free trial), you can begin using the product by clicking on the Library tab at the top of the page. You will be prompted to agree to the terms & conditions and offered an optional tour of the platform.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Sam Clinch at sclinch@nebar.com.

    Sincerely,

    Liz Neeley
