Invitation to participate in Judicial Branch Survey on Problem Solving Courts

  • 1.  Invitation to participate in Judicial Branch Survey on Problem Solving Courts

Sent on behalf of the Administrative Office of the Courts and Probation:

Nebraska's problem-solving courts are innovative court programs through which individuals and families thrive, and all Nebraska communities become safer. To expand the number of individuals served by our problem-solving courts, a workgroup of the various stakeholders is being formed. In order to achieve the goal of increased participation, the workgroup must understand the current and future needs of problem-solving courts; identify barriers to growth; and build collaboration.

The Nebraska Supreme Court has engaged the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) to convene and guide the stakeholder group's work.  We are seeking your input and feedback to inform the stakeholder workgroup's decision-making and advance recommendations.

Enclosed below is a link to a survey being conducted by NCSC. The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete, and you will be able to walk away and come back to it without losing your responses. The survey will remain open until May 1, 2024.

Please reach out to Adam Jorgensen at the Nebraska Supreme Court at adam.jorgensen@nejudicial.gov with any questions about the workgroup or its work and Miguel Trujillo with NCSC at mtrujill@ncsc.org should you experience any difficulty accessing the survey.

Thank you in advance for your participation and thoughtful input.
