Dear City Attorneys Section,
We're putting together the final pieces for our upcoming City Attorneys Seminar (June 12, in Kearney at the Younes Center) and are looking round out the day with a 60-minute, diverse panel of city attorneys. This session will serve as an "anything and everything" type of discussion where attendees can hear candid perspectives from attorneys representing municipalities of different sizes and settings.
We will put together a list of questions and topics ahead of time with final panelist input. Some of the anticipated discussion will be around:
- Personnel and employment issues
- Working with councils and local officials
- Public records and open meetings challenges
- Day-to-day realities of municipal practice
If you're interested, please reply and let me know:
- Your municipality (or the types/sizes you typically represent)
- Any topics you'd be especially interested in addressing
As a thank you, all panelists will receive complimentary registration for the full seminar day (approximately 6 CLE credit hours, including at least one ethics hour).
Thank you! Please let me know if you have any questions at all.
Bri
To accommodate my hearing loss, I rely on captioned communication. I am best reached via Email, Text, or Zoom. Thank you for your understanding!
