Dear NSBA Technology, Privacy and Security Section:
The Nebraska State Bar Association is forming an Ad Hoc Committee on Technology. The proposed scope of the Committee is below. We would like to invite several members of your Section to join us in this work. If you would be interested in participating (meetings will be held via Zoom), would you please send me a message by Wednesday, November 20th with some additional information about your background/interest?
The NSBA Ad Hoc Committee on Technology will:
- Evaluate and make recommendations to the Nebraska Judicial Branch from the perspective of the practicing bar regarding the Court's case management system, regulatory portal and its rules related to lawyers' use of technology in the courts.
- Assist NSBA members in enhancing their practices, adapting to technological innovation including artificial intelligence, and achieving reasonable technological competence in all aspects of their practices through CLE, product recommendations, model policies and other tools; and
- Advise the Association on how it could improve its use of technology for the benefit of its members.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Liz Neeley
