All:
I represent a small village that supplies water and sewer to its residents.
They have a resident that is extremely past due on paying for the services. They would like to shut of the services of water.
They are worried about it being cold weather or whether children would be in the home.
IS the Village prevented from giving proper notice by statute and then turning off the water to the residence? Even if there are children present or it is extremely cold weather?
I have tried to research but don't find anything on point. Thanks.
