I joined the NSBA as the Case Referral Managing Attorney in November 2022 to pursue my passion of helping low-income people navigate a complicated legal system. I currently help attorneys meet their pro bono goals by placing direct representation cases within their practice areas with applicants in need of legal services in their communities.
Previously I was the owner and sole attorney at a law firm handling bankruptcy cases throughout the state and in Iowa. I had worked for over a decade helping people in the areas of bankruptcy, estate planning, and probates by the time I decided to change careers. I had worked myself up from being a new associate to partner and ultimately the owner of my old law firm. So I have had experience in all aspects of law firm leadership roles.
My personal passions are quilting and coffee!
My goal is to diversify the legal field and expand access to legal services to people across Nebraska.
