Regulating Smoking in Public Outdoor Spaces

    All,

Do any of your municipalities regulate smoking in public outdoor spaces such as playgrounds, parks, and baseball/softball complexes? Most of the ordinances available online prohibit smoking in public places, but, then define public places as indoors.

McCook is building a new sports complex and would like to prohibit smoking on the entire complex.

I'm fairly certain we can do it, but, as usual, would like to see what other municipalities have done. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Nathaniel J. Mustion, Esq.
